A Message From the Principal
A Message From the Principal
As we enter the final month of school, our determination remains strong! In April, students worked diligently on the Forward Exam, braved the spring winds at track meets, and prepared for upcoming band and choir concerts. Now that we’ve jumped into May, we continue to prioritize our academics.
Students will complete the spring diagnostic for iReady in the second week of May. Please encourage your child to give their best effort and engage in discussions about the types of questions they will encounter on this benchmark.
Additionally, we are excited to announce a Math competition open to all students in the third week of May! We will also be celebrating our 8th grade Promotion Ceremony, marking the transition to Berlin High School. As we wrap up the school year, we will celebrate all our hard work with end-of-the-year field trips.
We look forward to an exciting month filled with hard work and recognition of our achievements. I also encourage you to consider signing up your child for summer school in June!
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I am looking forward to a successful end of the school year and deeply appreciate your support!
Kind Regards,
Colleen Pariso
Berlin Middle School Principal

Missoula Children's Theatre - Rumpelstiltskin
The enchanting performance of Rumpelstiltskin was brought to life through our collaboration with Missoula Children's Theatre.
Students dedicated countless hours to rehearsing and memorizing their lines, ensuring a fantastic show for all. It was heartwarming to see children from neighboring districts, parochial schools, and home-schooled students unite in this performance.
Congratulations to our talented students for an outstanding job!

7th Grade ELA and Geography Mini-Unit: "Job Seeker"
Recently, 7th grade students in ELA and Geography completed an engaging mini-unit titled "Job Seeker." During this unit, students began by reflecting on their own skills and qualities that make them employable. They then explored job opportunities available to teens in our area, filled out job applications, obtained letters of reference, and crafted cover letters.
To further enhance their learning experience, students participated in mock interviews with volunteers from our community and school district. This provided them with valuable practice in their interview skills.
A heartfelt thank you to the volunteer interviewers who dedicated their time to support our students. Your contributions are greatly appreciated by both the students and staff!
